The drive between Derby and Broome has a feeling all of its own with many and varied boab trees and always cattle to look out for in case one wanders onto the highway. In the dry season you are likely to see smoke rising in the distance with the graceful swirl of black kites swooping around to catch the bugs. This painting was laid down in acrylic and has been added to with oils and even some red pindan soil sprinkled on to add a genuine Kimberley touch (sealed for longevity).

Painting measures 79.5 cm x 60 cm x 6.5 cm & is ready to hang.
