In this different style of painting I wanted to show the beauty of the azure swirling sea where whales & other sea creatures such as dugongs swim & the many small islands I have yet to explore. The traditional owners of the Buccaneer Archipelago are the Bardi Jawi, Mayala, and Dambimangari (or Dambeemangarddee) peoples. These saltwater communities have lived on and managed these lands and sea country for thousands of years.
